Our products represent our values. Developing products using responsible materials and processes is the cornerstone of Luxaflex's sustainability approach. Which is why we use Forest Stewardship Council (FSC® - FSC-C021704 ) certified wood in our real wood blinds & shutters.

Why is the certification important? If you know that deforestation causes 15% of the worldwide C02 emissions and an area equivalent to 36 football fields disappears per minute, you realize that this cannot continue.

Our goal is to use sustainably sourced FSC® (FSC-C021704) certified wood whenever possible for Luxaflex real wood products.

What is FSC®?

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) is an international organisation dedicated to promoting responsible managment of the world's forests. It's mission: to protect forests for future generations.

FSC® sets standards for responsible forest management, under which forests and companies can earn a certificaiton based on environmental, economic and social criteria. It is the world's most respected and widespread forest certification system, helping people and companies to make sustainable choices for wood products and materials.
